The national Economic Abuse Reference Group has released its strategic plan that will guide the network’s policy priorities and advocacy for 2026-27. Our priorities are informed by the network’s expertise and prior advocacy, with a focus on implementing the recommendations from the parliamentary inquiry into financial abuse in 2024 and the Federal Government’s commitments to financial abuse reforms in 2025.
The strategic plan outlines the policy areas where EARG will lead national advocacy, where EARG will support its specialist members to lead advocacy, and where EARG will continue to monitor developments and provide expertise as required.
